We are hiring for the Southern California market.

This is a relationship-focused, field-based role in which you will manage an established territory and identify new growth opportunities. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, engineers, and municipalities—and be backed by a team that values expertise, integrity, and results.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to:
- Maximize revenue within an assigned account portfolio by growing existing relationships and developing new business opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and objectives, delivering solutions that contribute to their overall business growth.
- Conduct product presentations, trainings, and jobsite visits that reinforce product value and deepen customer relationships.
- Leverage industry knowledge to formulate strategic business plans that drive measurable sales results.

Delco Sales has been in the Hawaiian Islands for more than 25 years and proudly represents over 50 brands across plumbing and heating, waterworks and fire protection, and irrigation. This position works directly with customers to identify their needs, develop solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to:
- Support customers with product information, pricing, quotes, and order management.
- Work closely with wholesale distributors, contractors, engineers, and manufacturers.
- Partner with the Outside Sales team to understand customer requirements and provide product recommendations and solutions.
- Follow up throughout the completion of the customer’s purchasing cycle.
- Coordinate order fulfillment and timely deliveries for shipping and local warehouse pickup.
- Complete warehousing tasks related to sales duties as needed.

Specification & Design Account Manager
We are hiring for the Southern California territory.

This role is responsible for developing specifications, promoting manufacturer product lines, and building long-term relationships with engineers, architects, and contractors throughout the commercial plumbing, waterworks, and mechanical markets. The ideal candidate is technically knowledgeable, highly organized, and skilled at influencing projects in the early design stages.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mechanical engineers, plumbing engineers, architects and designers, contractors, developers, and end users.
- Promote Delco Sales manufacturer product lines for inclusion in project specifications.
- Conduct product presentations, lunch & learns, and continuing education sessions.
- Track project opportunities from design through construction phases and identify product positioning opportunities within specifications.
- Assist engineering firms with product selection, technical support, and specification development.
- Coordinate with Outside Sales, Quotes, and Inside Sales teams to support project execution.
- Maintain project and customer activity within the CRM platform and stay informed on market trends, code requirements, and competitive products.
A deep understanding of commercial plumbing, waterworks, or mechanical systems and the ability to influence projects in the early design stages are essential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in specification sales, engineering support, or commercial plumbing/mechanical sales
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing, waterworks, fire protection, or mechanical systems preferred
- Experience working with engineers, architects, and construction professionals
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized; CRM experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
Preferred Skills
- Technical product knowledge within commercial plumbing or mechanical systems
- Experience with project tracking software and specification platforms
- Existing relationships within the A&E community are highly desirable
- Strong consultative sales approach
